Andrew Watson is an experienced educator with a robust background in professional development and a focus on the intersection of neuroscience and teaching. Currently serving as the Coordinator of Onsite Professional Development, Social Media Director, and Blog Editor in Chief at Learning and the Brain since November 2016, Andrew also holds the position of President at Translate the Brain, which specializes in workshops that translate brain science into practical teaching strategies. Prior roles include Board Member and Chair of the Development and Alumni Relations Committee at The Aloha Foundation, Dean of Faculty at The Loomis Chaffee School, and English Teacher at Concord Academy. Andrew’s educational background includes an M.Ed. in Mind, Brain, Education from Harvard University Graduate School of Education and a Master's in English from Boston University, along with a Bachelor's in Medieval History and Literature from Harvard University.
