James Mowry is a dedicated educator and artist with extensive experience in visual arts instruction. Currently serving as a High School Visual Arts Teacher at Conemaugh Valley School District since August 2022, James has also contributed as a Substitute Teacher for The Learning Lamp since January 2017. Previous teaching roles include Art Teacher positions at Frederick County Public Schools and Shade Central City School District, where responsibilities involved teaching K-12 students. In addition to teaching, James has maintained a career as an artist with The Old Ways Arts and Crafts since September 2011. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Bachelor of Arts in Design and Applied Arts from Point Park University, and an Associate's degree in Industrial Design from The Art Institutes.
