John Goodwin serves as Executive Chair at the Learning Economy Foundation since June 2022 and is a Board Member of Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) since March 2022. Previously, John held roles including Chairman of the Board at LEGO House, where responsibilities included advising the leadership team on brand objectives from March 2017 to June 2022, and Board Member at LEGO Education from June 2013 to April 2022, focusing on strategic oversight with an emphasis on STEAM education. As CEO of The LEGO Foundation from March 2017 to September 2021, John advanced the Learning Through Play initiative globally. Prior to these roles, John spent nearly a decade at the LEGO Group as EVP Business Enabling & CFO, overseeing a wide range of organizational responsibilities. John’s earlier experience at Procter & Gamble included various CEO roles across multiple business sectors and a tenure as CFO for Global Health & Well Being. John holds a degree in Mathematical Engineering from Loughborough University (1982-1986).
