Sebastian Burduja currently serves as the President of Partidul Național Liberal in București and the Minister of Energy in the Government of Romania, alongside holding a position as a Member of Parliament since December 2020, where Sebastian is the Vice Chairman of the Budget, Finance, and Banking Committee. Burduja has held various significant roles, including Vice President of Partidul National Liberal and Minister of Research, Innovation, and Digitalization. Sebastian's early career includes serving as Deputy Minister of Finance and holding advisory roles, focusing on economic affairs and attracting foreign investments. With a strong educational background that includes an MBA from Harvard Business School and a PhD in Economics and International Relations from Academia de Studii Economice din București, Burduja's expertise spans economics, finance, and public policy, complemented by their longstanding involvement with the League of Romanian Students Abroad as Honorary President and Co-Founder.
