Kristine Schindler has extensive experience in community engagement and advocacy focused on promoting pedestrian and bicycle safety, environmental sustainability, and active transportation. Since January 2017, Kristine has been a member of the APBP San Diego Chapter Steering Committee and serves as the Webinar Chair, coordinating events with Encinitas City Hall. As a League Cycling Instructor since February 2018, Kristine fosters bike commuting and safer bicycling in North County San Diego. Involvement as a committee member with organizations such as Bike Walk Encinitas and BikeWalkSolana further exemplifies Kristine's commitment to community action. Previous roles include Project Coordinator for the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition, Intergenerational Coordinator for Safe Routes to School at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, and Community Engagement Coordinator at Circulate San Diego. Kristine holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Hope College.
