Alan Do is currently the Public Relations Chair for Texas Materials Scientists and Engineers, where responsibilities include developing strategies to enhance the organization's public image and increase community involvement. As a FRI Peer Mentor at the College of Natural Sciences, Alan provides guidance to undergraduate students in their research experiences. Additionally, Alan serves as a LEDA Career Fellow and has been an EMERGE Scholar since March 2019. Previous experience includes a role as a Process Engineer at Sanmina, where research focused on process improvements in the oxide line. Alan also worked as a Sports Club Supervisor with UT RecSports, ensuring compliance and communication among various sports clubs. A Summer Teaching Fellow at Breakthrough Central Texas provided valuable training in teaching and leadership. Alan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at The University of Texas at Austin.
