Joseph Yurchak is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Assistant Principal of Instruction and Instructional Coach at LEAD Public Schools since June 2016. In this role, Joseph manages, coaches, and evaluates seven teachers, focusing on professional development to foster a positive academic culture. Previous experience includes teaching AP Literature & Composition and serving as the 12th Grade Level Chair at LEAD Academy High School, as well as roles such as College Match Counselor at KIPP Nashville. Joseph also has a background in teaching various subjects, including 6th Grade Social Studies and 9th Grade Literature & Composition, while coaching soccer and baseball at KIPP Metro Atlanta. Joseph holds a Master of Education in Instructional Practice from Lipscomb University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
