Richard Evans has extensive experience in the entertainment industry, specializing in lighting direction and safety instruction. Since October 1991, Richard has served as a Lighting Director and Safety Instructor at LD Systems. Prior to this role, Richard worked as a Theatrical Stagehand and Scenery Construction Assistant Carpenter for IATSE Local 51, contributing to set pieces and special effects for the Houston Ballet. Richard's early career includes multiple positions as a Lighting Director for notable acts such as Peter Frampton and the Rossington Collins Band, as well as lighting technician work for the Jean Luc Ponti Tour. Richard's education includes studies at the University of Houston and local schools in the Houston area.
