Scott McCarthy has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Scott started their career in 2001 as a Motion Capture Team Member at Avatar Motion Capture, where they were responsible for recording and cleaning motion capture data. From 1998 to 2013, they worked as a Computer Technician at A&H Service Co., Inc., handling tasks such as software installation, troubleshooting, and printer maintenance. Scott then transitioned to the education sector and worked as an Adjunct Instructor at ITT Technical Institute from 2006 to 2013, teaching basic computer classes and implementing lesson plans. From 2013 to 2014, Scott worked as an Information Assurance Analyst at CSC, where they performed virus scans and implemented vulnerability management tasks. Scott then became a Technical Writer at C-Innovation, LLC from 2014 to 2016, creating engineering/tooling manuals using 3D images, animations, and interactive PDFs. In 2016, they joined Velocity Agency as a Graphic Designer, designing print and digital advertisements for various clients. Currently, Scott is working at LCMC Health as an EPIC IT Systems Analyst, troubleshooting issues, and assisting in the design and build of software packages. Scott has received EPIC Accreditation in Resolute Professional Billing Administration.

Scott McCarthy attended the University of New Orleans from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts.
