Dolly Dicken has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 2002, they worked as a School Bus Driver for the Jefferson Parish Public School System. In 2012, they briefly took on the role of a school bus driver trainer for St. Charles Parish Public Schools. Dolly then joined the Jefferson Parish Public School System again in 2017, this time as a Safety and Training Specialist. In 2019, Dolly transitioned to A&S Transportation Services where they served as a Safety and Training Manager for three years. Currently, they are working as a Patient Care Rep 1 at LCMC Health since August 2022. Throughout their career, Dolly has gained valuable experience in transportation, safety, training, and patient care.
Dolly Dicken has a diverse education history. In 1986 to 1988, they attended Our Lady of Holy Cross College, earning a degree in General Studies. Following this, in 1991 to 1992, they enrolled at Louisiana Technical College-West Jefferson Campus, where they obtained a degree in LPN, focusing on Nursing. In 2014 to 2015, they pursued a degree in Hospitality Management with a focus on Hospitality Administration/Management at Delgado Community College.
In addition to their academic pursuits, Dolly Dicken has also obtained additional certifications. In May 2018, they became a First Aid/CPR Instructor through the American Red Cross New Orleans. Furthermore, in November 2014, they completed training to become a State Certified School Bus Driver Trainer, which was offered by the Louisiana Board of Education.
