Andrew Vaino, Ph.D. has been the Chief Scientific Officer since 2015. Dr. Vaino was Senior Vice President of Research and Development at Retrophin, where he co-invented the company’s RE-024 product for the treatment of PKAN. Dr. Vaino received his Ph.D. in chemistry from Queen’s University and his MBA from the University of California, Irvine.
