The leadership team at Lawson's Finest Liquids has experience in environmental monitoring and management from their previous work with the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation, as well as experience in naturalist programing from their time at Mad River Glen. Both members of the team have degrees from the University of Vermont in environmental studies, ecology, and forestry.
