Amy Friedel is the current Assistant Treasurer at Lawrence University. Prior to their current position, Amy was a Manager at Schenck SC from June 1993 to February 2016. In this role, they managed staff and accounting services for clients in the not-for-profit industry as well as for small business and individuals. Services they oversaw included audited, reviewed or compiled financial statements, income tax, Form 990. Amy began their career in January 1993 as a staff accountant intern at Deignan & Associates SC where they worked with clients in the governmental industry.

Amy Friedel has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Amy is also certified as a CPA in Wisconsin.
