Fabiola Garcia is a board member at Laurentian University. Fabiola was previously the Vice President of Marketing at Avison Young from October 2015 to December 2020. In their role at Avison Young, Fabiola was responsible for developing and leading strategic marketing activities to increase awareness of the company's brand, service, and product offerings. Fabiola also oversaw the day-to-day activities of the marketing team in Canada, including budgeting, planning, and staff development.

Fabiola Garcia has an Honors BA from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne in Political Science & Earth Sciences. Fabiola also has a degree in Foundations of Strategic Public Relations from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. In addition, they have a certification in Getting Strategic with Social Media from IABC and a Strategic Management certification from Queen's University. Finally, they have a Post Graduate Certificate in International Marketing from Humber College.
