Laura Abbott has extensive experience in communications, brand strategy, and public relations. Laura is currently the Vice President of Communications and Brand Strategy at LaunchSquad, where they lead PR programs for tech companies and consumer brands. Prior to this role, they worked as a PR Manager at Say Media, where they created strategies to transform websites into lifestyle brands and executed brand events. Laura also has experience in book publishing, having worked as an Associate Publicist at Penguin Group USA, where they coordinated national publicity campaigns and author tours. Laura holds a Columbia Publishing Course certificate from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. Additionally, Laura has interned at both Vanity Fair and Teen Vogue, gaining valuable experience in editorial and fashion.
Laura Abbott received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities and French from Scripps College, where they attended from 2007 to 2011. During their time at Scripps College, they focused on the study of humanities and the French language and literature. In 2009, Laura participated in a French Language and Literature program at the American University, Center of Provence.
In terms of additional certifications, Laura obtained certifications in "SEO for Social Media" and "Social Media Marketing: Strategy and Optimization" from LinkedIn in August 2020.
