Shilpa Pillai has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Shilpa started their career as an Accounting Intern at Dark Star Imports in November 2016 and continued in the company as an Accounting Assistant from May 2017 to September 2017. In July 2018, they worked as a Temporary Data Entry Clerk at Debevoise & Plimpton. Since December 2018, Shilpa has been working at Launchmetrics, where their roles include Accounts Receivable Specialist and General Accountant & Treasurer for the US. In their roles at Launchmetrics, they were responsible for various tasks such as customer payment processing, invoice issuance, data accuracy assurance, credit collection, payment processing, account management, and filing year-end 1099s. Shilpa also worked closely with sales, customer service, and legal teams.

Shilpa Pillai pursued their education from 2013 to 2018 at The City College of New York, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Finance.
