Tim Darling

Tim Darling's work experience includes roles at various companies in the healthcare industry.

Tim is the Founder, Chief Client Officer, and Chief Analytics Officer at Laudio, a company that focuses on reducing healthcare staff burnout by improving staff interactions. Tim started this role in July 2017 and is currently still working there.

Tim has also served as an Independent Board Director at UNA Health since July 2021 and DosedDaily since August 2018. DosedDaily is a platform that provides clinical scenarios to healthcare professionals via email.

From September 2018 to June 2021, Tim worked as an Entrepreneur In Residence at North Carolina State University.

Before that, they held the position of Vice President of Strategy and Analytics at Relias from November 2016 to July 2017. Tim played a key role in defining the company's strategy for growth.

From December 2013 to November 2016, Tim worked as the Executive Vice President of Strategy and Analytics at Advanced Practice Strategies (APS). Tim collaborated with the CEO to develop the company's future strategy and led the integration of an acquired pre-hire assessment company.

Prior to APS, Tim worked at McKinsey & Company in various roles. Tim was a Senior Director, Analytics and Product Development from December 2011 to December 2013, where they led a team focused on using big data and predictive analytics for healthcare providers. Tim also served as an Engagement Manager and Associate at McKinsey.

Tim started their career as a Software Engineer and Faculty at the University of Maryland's College of Engineering. Tim worked in this role from May 2000 to July 2006.

Before that, they were the CEO of Darling and Miles, Inc., a company they co-founded, from May 2005 to May 2007.

In 2007, Tim had a summer internship as a Summer Associate at McKinsey & Company, where they worked with VPs and regional CFOs of a major U.S. hospital system. Tim helped identify the drivers of declining profitability to create a case for change.

Tim Darling has a strong educational background in business and mathematics. Tim obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Maryland from 1996 to 2000. Later, they pursued an M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship from Carnegie Mellon University, where they graduated cum laude from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Tim has also obtained a certification in "Inclusive Mindset for Committed Allies" from LinkedIn in June 2021.
