Ricky Bryan has extensive experience in education and coaching, having worked at Lauderdale County Schools in Alabama since August 1987 as the head boys basketball coach and cross country coach. Prior to this role, Ricky Bryan served as a teacher and assistant football/basketball coach at Hazlewood High School from August 1985 to August 1986. Ricky Bryan holds a Master's Degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from the University of North Alabama, completed between 1979 and 1983, and graduated from Lexington High School in 1976.
