Caleb Sotelo has a diverse work experience starting from 2010 when they worked as a Sales and Marketing Intern at PETCO Animal Supplies, Inc. From 2008 to 2011, they worked at UC San Diego - Office of Research Affairs as a Web Applications Intern and later as an Undergraduate Researcher. In 2011, they began their career as a Software Engineer at j2 Global, where they worked until 2012. Caleb then joined OpenX as a Software Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Staff Software Engineer, where they managed the OpenX Labs team and led various projects. In 2019, Caleb joined Google as a Software Engineer, where they developed Natural Language Understanding infrastructure. Caleb'sresponsibilities included writing C++ and Python code to enhance ML model performance and testability. From 2021 to 2023, Caleb worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Fireside, and starting from May 2023, they will be joining Lattice as a Senior Software Engineer.

Caleb Sotelo earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they attended Pasadena City College from 2012 to 2015, specializing in Music and Trumpet Performance. Prior to their time at Pasadena City College, Caleb spent a year at Santa Monica College in 2007-2008, focusing on subjects such as History of Science and Sociology. Caleb completed their high school education at Santa Monica High School, graduating in 2007. In addition to their academic achievements, Caleb holds certifications in CPR and AED from Medic First Aid, as well as being a Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance, all obtained in 2015.
