Zherui Zhang currently serves as a Software Engineer at Latitude AI, focusing on calibration since March 2023. Prior experience includes a similar role at Argo AI from February 2022 to March 2023 and a Graduate Research Assistant position at Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute, where research concentrated on multi-LiDAR calibration and learning-based approaches for point cloud registration from February 2020 to February 2022. Zherui also completed a Software Engineer Intern role at Zoox, specializing in camera calibration during summer 2021. From September 2016 to May 2019, Zherui was active in teaching roles at UM-SJTU Joint Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, founding the Teaching Assistant Supervision Committee and training new TAs. Zherui holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, with additional study at the Technical University of Munich.
