Vinay Sameer K is a Software Engineer II currently employed at Latitude AI since February 2023, with prior experience at Argo AI in a similar role from January 2020 to February 2023. Vinay has contributed to research in off-policy Reinforcement Learning for navigation in urban environments using the CARLA simulator. An internship at Uber's Perception team occurred in summer 2020, and Vinay served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University for an Introduction to Machine Learning course. Earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Samsung Electronics from July 2016 to July 2019, and a summer internship at Trimble in 2015 focusing on indoor location detection using machine learning.
