Samara has previously worked as the head of communications at Sigo Seguros, Beni, Innovare - Social Innovation Partners, Certiverse, ConnectCareHero, EarlyBird, Suma Wealth, Tiny Organics, and Chingona Ventures. Samara has a long history of working in startups and venture capital firms, and their experience has been invaluable to the LatinxVC team.

Samara Mejia Hernandez has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management with a focus in finance, management in organizations, and entrepreneurship. Samara also has a BSE from the University of Michigan in industrial and operations engineering. Samara is certified by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in Series 63 and Series 7.
