Mike Kaufman is a seasoned executive in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Chemistry at Latigo Biotherapeutics, Inc. since April 2022. Prior to this role, Mike held multiple leadership positions at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals from 2005 to 2022, culminating in the role of Vice President of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Development, where responsibilities included managing CMC strategy for New Molecular Entities and overseeing preclinical development activities. Earlier career experience includes a tenure as Senior Principal Scientist at Pfizer. Mike Kaufman holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University Bloomington.
