Macarena Guarda Maillet currently serves as the Corporate Internal Communications Manager at LATAM Airlines, a position held since September 2022. Prior experience includes the role of Jefe de Comunicaciones at Liberty Seguros Chile from January 2017 to April 2023, where responsibilities included designing and implementing communication strategies and stakeholder engagement. Macarena has also worked at EY as Jefe de Comunicaciones, overseeing internal and external communication strategies, and as Trade and Communication Manager at the Trade Commission of Chile in Los Angeles, focusing on positioning Chilean products in the U.S. market. Earlier career roles involved coordinating communications at ProChile and implementing marketing strategies at INNSPIRAL. Macarena holds multiple degrees from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, including a Diploma in Corporate Communications, a Diploma in Marketing and CSR, a Master’s in Political Science, and a degree in Journalism.
