Carlos Hernandez Saavedra has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Carlos started their career at IT Clamber Ltda. as a Java Developer in 2008. Later, they joined LAN Airlines Group as a Production Engineer in 2008 and then became a Senior Production Systems Engineer in 2012. In 2013, they transitioned to LATAM Airlines (formerly LAN Airlines) and held various roles, including Systems Engineering Lead and IT Infrastructure Assistant Manager. Carlos worked on expanding modern infrastructure management practices and implementing a new Cloud platform for the company. Carlos also worked as a Part Time Professor at the Universidad de Talca. Carlos is currently the Head of Cloud & SRE at LATAM Airlines, responsible for leading the Cloud and Site Reliability Engineering initiatives.

Carlos Hernandez Saavedra attended Universidad de Talca from 2001 to 2007, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniero Civil en Computación.
