Matthew Rainsford has an extensive work history in software development and web development. Matthew currently works at LastPass as a Principal Software Engineer, where they have been since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at LogMeIn as a Lead Frontend Developer & Manager from September 2018 to April 2022.

Before their time at LogMeIn, Matthew worked at Isobar as a Lead Interactive Developer from June 2013 to September 2018. Matthew also gained experience as a Front End Developer at The Boston Group from November 2012 to June 2013.

Matthew's professional journey began at Pearse Street Consulting, Inc. in July 2009, where they worked as a Front End Developer. Matthew focused on developing social networks, utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, AJAX, and JQuery. Matthew stayed with the company until November 2012.

Prior to this, Matthew worked as a Flash Developer at Aston University from July 2007 to July 2009. Here, they developed Flash tools to evaluate mental health and integrated them with online PHP tools.

Matthew's career began as a Freelance Website Developer in July 2006, where they worked as a Web Developer.

Matthew Rainsford attended Birmingham Metropolitan from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a BTEC National Diploma in Graphic Design. Matthew then went on to Aston University from 2007 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Multimedia Computing. In addition to their formal education, Matthew also obtained several certifications from Google, including the Google HTML5 Certification in July 2015, the Google Studio Certification in March 2013, and the Google Studio QA Certification in March 2013.
