Tom Wainwright is a highly experienced academic and practitioner in the field of orthopaedics and rehabilitation. Currently serving as a Professor of Orthopaedics and Deputy Head of the Orthopaedic Research Institute at Bournemouth University since August 2015, Tom Wainwright also works as a Research Physiotherapist at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust and holds multiple honorary positions, including Honorary Director and Professor of Rehabilitation at The First Hospital of Lanzhou University and Visiting Professor at Lanzhou University. In addition, Tom Wainwright is the Director of Healthdecoded Ltd. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Healthcare Management from Bournemouth University, an Executive Coaching degree from Henley Business School, a PgCert in Leadership for Quality Improvement from Teesside University, a PgDip in Physiotherapy from the University of Brighton, and a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Coventry University.
