Penny Hounsome is an experienced professional in the field of animal care and education, currently serving as Director/Owner at All Creatures Education since March 2023. From February 2022, Penny has also worked as an End Point Assessor for Lantra, focusing on assessing work-based apprentices in Animal Care. Previously, a Curriculum Leader at Sparsholt College Hampshire from January 2013 to October 2021, Penny managed the DMZAA course and coordinated Level 3 Animal Management and Level 2 Apprenticeships. Additionally, Penny demonstrated skills as a Re-enactment/Longbow Instructor for the National Trust in summer 2021. Earlier roles include Course Coordinator and Lecturer at Oaklands College and a Zookeeper at the Zoological Society of London. Penny holds a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies from the University of York, an ANCMZA from Sparsholt College Hampshire, and a PGCE from Swansea University.
