Itziar Lekue Gárate has work experience in various roles related to human resources and recruitment. In 2015, they worked as an IT Recruiter at Implemental Systems, where they aligned the corporate and human resources strategies across different locations. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Human Resources Consultant at Spring Professional, specializing in recruiting technical, middle management, and executive positions. Itziar then joined SELECCION & FORMACION as a Human Resources Consultant in 2018, focusing on specialized recruitment for middle management and executive positions. Currently, they are working at Lantek as a Talent Acquisition & People Development professional.

Itziar Lekue Gárate has a diverse education history. In 2013, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Deusto. Afterward, they pursued further studies and obtained a Master's degree in Gender Studies from the University of Salamanca in 2014. In 2015, they completed another Master's degree, this time in Systemic Family and Couple Psychotherapy, also from the University of Salamanca. Most recently, until 2020, Itziar attended Esden Business School, where they earned a Master's degree in Human Resources Management.
