Filip Van Damme has a long and varied work experience. Filip began their career in 2007 as a Project Ingenieur at De Roeve Industrial IT, where they worked with Winforms VB.net 2.0 and SQL Server. In 2008, they moved to VDS-Computing as a Consultant - WPF designer/programmer, where they worked with C# 3.5 Windows Presentation Foundation and Oracle 11g, as well as Asp.Net. In 2012, they took a role as a Senior .Net Developer at BICS. In 2013, they began working at Elia as a Senior Developer, and also at Niko as a Backend .Net Developer. In 2015, they joined Farmad nv as a Technical Team Lead/Technical Architect. In 2016, they returned to Niko as a Senior .Net Developer. In 2011, they founded Van Damme IT Consulting, where they served as Owner. Finally, in 2018, they joined Lansweeper as VP Development, R&D Manager, and Software Architect.

Filip Van Damme obtained a Master degree in Industrial Science Informatics from HOGENT between 2002 and 2006.
