Tamara Orts Pérez is an experienced educator with a focus on bilingual and dual immersion teaching. Currently serving as a 3rd grade dual immersion Spanish teacher at Washington County School District since July 2022, Tamara previously taught 5th grade dual immersion Spanish and Science in the same district and has extensive experience in other educational environments, including roles as a Kindergarten and Pre-K bilingual teacher for Dallas Independent School District and Spanish teacher in various international settings. Tamara is also involved as an AAPPL Spanish Rater for Language Testing International, assessing proficiency in Spanish language skills. Tamara holds a Master's degree in Spanish & English as a Second Language from Universitat d'Alacant as well as a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching.
