Shayna Higashi is an experienced equity program analyst currently working for Lane County Government since May 2023. Previously, Shayna served as the diversity, equity, and inclusion coordinator at Willamette Family, Inc. from February 2019 to May 2023, and held roles including child development center manager and skill builder, as well as ones teacher and family advocate at the same organization. Shayna holds a Master's degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management and a Graduate Certificate in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Oregon, along with a Bachelor of Education in Family Human Services - Early Childhood Education from the same institution, and an Associate of Arts in Teaching from Leeward Community College.
