Jeffrey Borrowdale is a Professor of Philosophy at Lane Community College, serving since September 2001 with responsibilities that include setting the schedule and curriculum for Philosophy and Religion courses in consultation with part-time faculty and the Division Dean. In addition to this role, Borrowdale has been the Faculty Advisor for Young Americans for Liberty at LCC since September 2007, promoting the ideals of individual rights and personal responsibility. Previous academic experience includes positions as an Associate Professor at Cuesta College and Allan Hancock College from 1997 to 2001, as well as a part-time lecturer at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2000. Jeffrey Borrowdale earned a Master’s degree and C.Phil in Philosophy from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies from California State University-Sacramento.
