Jonathan Blanco has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2014 when they worked as an Electrical Contractor Field Employee and Office Technology Advisor for Hi-Tek Electrical Contractors. In 2018, they became a Teaching Assistant for the NJIT Educational Opportunity Program, where they tutored students, presented physics lectures, graded and evaluated student assignments, and counseled students at risk of failing or leaving the program. In 2020, they became a Public School Teacher/Choir Director for EDISON TOWNSHIP PUBLIC SCHOOLS. In 2021, they became a Software Engineering & Teaching Fellow and a Software Engineering Student for Fullstack Academy. Finally, in 2022, they became a Software Engineer for Landis.

Jonathan Blanco obtained their Bachelor of Music's degree from Rutgers University in 2020, having studied Music Education (Classical Voice/Choral Music) from 2016 to 2020. Jonathan was also enrolled in the High School Duel Enrollment Program at Middlesex College from 2014 to 2015. In 2021, they obtained a Certificate in Software Engineering from Fullstack Academy. Additionally, they obtained their NJ Substitute Teacher Cert. in January 2019 and was CPR Certified in January 2015.
