Jorge Astorga is a seasoned professional in membership services and nonprofit management, currently serving as the Membership Services Coordinator at the Land Trust Alliance since December 2016, where responsibilities include recruiting and retaining Land Trust Membership. Previously, Jorge worked as a Member Services Associate at Defenders of Wildlife, managing member inquiries and overseeing donor relations. As the Membership Manager at the Center for Nonprofit Advancement from March 2012 to October 2015, Jorge facilitated nonprofit membership and coordinated membership-related activities. Additionally, Jorge held the position of Guest Services Manager at the Friends of the National Zoo, managing guest services and parking facilities. Jorge holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from The University of Texas at San Antonio and completed advanced coursework in AP Calculus and AP English, Creative Writing at Kaiserslautern High School.
