Sara Matchison is an experienced professional in membership marketing and aquatics management. Currently serving as the Membership Marketing Director at Lakota Family YMCA since January 2011, Sara directs all aspects of membership, including recruitment and retention, while supervising staff. As Aquatics Director, responsibilities include managing both an indoor pool and outdoor waterpark, focusing on program management and member use. Additionally, since May 2011, Sara has held the role of Lifeguard Instructor and CPR/AED Instructor for the American Red Cross, teaching essential life-saving skills. Previous experience includes serving as Aquatics Coordinator at Silverlake "The Family Place," where program development and budget management were key responsibilities, and as a Swim Instructor/Site Supervisor at Blairwood SwimAmerica, teaching lessons across various age groups. Sara earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from the University of Louisville in 2006.
