Alyson MacKay serves as the Manager of Ingenuity at Lakehead University since March 2015, overseeing the university's business incubator while providing advisory and research services to entrepreneurs in areas such as business strategy and marketing. Previous experience includes the role of Entrepreneurship Coordinator at Lakehead University, where Alyson assisted entrepreneurs with business plans and coordinated workshops to foster entrepreneurial spirit. Prior to this, Alyson held managerial positions at Starbucks Coffee Canada from June 2004 to March 2015, driving program implementation and operational goals, and at McDonald's Corporation as Assistant Store Manager from June 1994 to June 2004. Alyson's career also includes a brief role as Supervisor of Environmental Services at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in 2004. Alyson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Lakehead University between 1998 and 2003.
