Terry Jess is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in instructional leadership and curriculum development. Currently serving as an Associate Principal at Lake Washington School District since June 2022, Terry previously held various roles at Bellevue School District from August 2012 to July 2022, including Instructional Technology and Curriculum Leader, Administrative Intern, and Secondary Teacher. Notably, Terry created and taught innovative courses such as Ethnic Studies: Race in the US and Decolonized US History while developing curricula for World History and AP World History. Prior experience includes working as a Substitute Teacher at Post Falls School District from April 2011 to June 2012. Terry holds a Master of Education from the University of Washington and two degrees from the University of Idaho, including a M.Ed in Curriculum & Instruction and a B.S.Ed in Secondary Education.
