Open Position has been the Theatre Department Chair at Lake Mead Christian Academy since October 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Research and Development at the Zappos Family of Companies from August 2013 to October 2020. Open Position started their career as a teacher at Lake Mead Christian Academy in August 2001, where they taught Elementary for 5 years, High School Math and Bible for 2 years, and Middle School Math, Bible, and Science for 6 years.

They are on a team with Alanna Cabrales - Administrative Assistant to VAPA Director, Kelly Ontiberos - Dance Department Chair, and Open Position - Art Department Chair. Open Position reports to Jeanne-Marie Grewe, VAPA Director.
