Brian A. Kinnaird, Ph.D., is an accomplished academic in the field of criminal justice with extensive teaching experience. Currently serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor and Adjunct Instructor at Lake Erie College since 2020, Brian previously held significant roles including Director of the Criminal Justice Program and Professor at Spartanburg Methodist College. Additionally, Brian has served as Chair of the Department of Criminal Justice and Associate Professor at Bethany College and has occupied various positions at the University of the Incarnate Word and Fort Hays State University. Brian's practical experience includes work as a commissioned Deputy Sheriff at the Ellis County Sheriff's Office. Brian holds a Ph.D. in Human Services with a focus on Criminal Justice from Capella University, as well as a Master of Science in Administration of Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Fort Hays State University.
