Amitabh Goel MD FACS is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in surgery and surgical critical care. Since 1998, Amitabh has served as the Director of Surgery at University Hospitals Geneva Medical Center, focusing on delivering quality surgical care in a rural community and enhancing coordinated care processes. In addition to this role, Amitabh has been a Clinical Professor of Surgery at Case Western Reserve University and Baldwin Wallace University, as well as a Clinical Faculty Adjunct at Lake Erie College since 2017. Prior to these positions, Amitabh worked as a Prosector in Anatomy at Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in 1990-1991. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Queen's University Belfast and medical training at the WestPenn/Allegheny Health System and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
