Jonatan Strömgren is a seasoned hydrogeologist and senior project manager, currently serving as the Sr. Water Advisor at Läkarmissionen / LM International since August 2023, where responsibilities include supporting WASH programs in the Sahel and Horn of Africa regions. Previously, Jonatan held a significant role at Sweco from April 2018 to April 2024, leading international groundwater and water resources projects, including a notable feasibility study on Managed Aquifer Recharge in Botswana. With extensive experience in the development sector, Jonatan has also served as Regional Director for Interact in the EUMENA region, overseeing numerous projects and a diverse team. Other roles included hydrogeological and legal project leadership at Midvatten AB, country representation for Interact Middle East, and WASH expertise in Afghanistan. Jonatan's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Aquatic and Environmental Engineering from Uppsala University and specialized training in humanitarian water, sanitation, and hygiene from UNICEF.
