Joining Laird Norton Company in 2015, Matt Hill is the Director of Corporate Development and Strategy. In this role, he oversees and analyzes the Companyā€™s corporate investments portfolio and asset allocation. He has a variety of assignments, including acquisitions, ļ¬nancing, long-term strategic planning, and portfolio monitoring.

Prior to joining Laird Norton Company, Matt was a Senior Associate in the Valuation Services Group at Grant Thornton, LLP. While there, he conducted valuations for business enterprises, ļ¬nancial securities, and intellectual property across various industry segments.

He received a BBA in ļ¬nance from Baylor University and an MBA from the University of Washingtonā€™s Foster School of Business. He is a member of Seattleā€™s Association for Corporate Growth and the Seattle Finance Collective.

Matt and his wife Stephanie moved from Dallas, Texas to Seattle in 2015 and, in 2020, they moved to Tacoma, Washington.
