David Truxton has a strong background in land development and entitlements. David started their career in 2004 at Lennar, where they held various roles including Vice President of Land and Entitlement Manager. During their time at Lennar, they oversaw the Hi Hat Ranch community entitlement project in Sarasota County. In 2013, they joined Taylor Morrison as the Director of Land Development, supervising land entitlements and development for master planned communities in Southwest Florida and Tampa. In 2018, they joined Kolter Group as the Vice President of Kolter Land Partners, where they focused on acquiring and developing land parcels for sale to homebuilders. Currently, they are the Head of Land at Lafayette RE LLC.
