Alan McHugh is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and intelligence, currently serving as Senior Advisor for Cybersecurity Partnerships at Lafayette Group since October 2024. Previously, McHugh held the position of Deputy Chief of the FBI Liaison Team to DHS/CISA within the FBI Cyber Division from November 2023 to October 2024. With a notable tenure at the Federal Bureau of Investigation spanning two decades, McHugh progressed through various roles including Unit Chief, Supervisory Intelligence Analyst, and Intelligence Analyst. Earlier experience includes serving as a Crime Mapping Analyst for Montgomery County Government, where prior responsibilities included Americorps membership. McHugh's educational background encompasses a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Northeastern University and a Master of Public Administration in Political Science and Government from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, along with additional studies in Organizational Leadership at Northwestern University.
