Sharat Batra is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in power engineering and mechanical systems. Currently serving as the Power Engineering Manager at LADWP since June 2009, Sharat oversees Substation Engineering efforts while having previously worked in Wholesale Energy Resource Management and focused on maximizing water recycling for beneficial reuse in Los Angeles. Prior to this role, Sharat was a Mechanical Engineering Associate with the City of Los Angeles from September 2005 to June 2009, where responsibilities included designing mechanical systems for city facilities. Sharat Batra holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA and has pursued further education at USC Marshall School of Business and HKUST Business School.
