James Eaves is an advisor at Labroots and a contributor at Cannabis Business Times. James was previously the head of research and development at GreenSeal Cannabis Co., where they were in charge of identifying research priorities and conducting experiments. Under their leadership, the research and development department at GreenSeal was able to accomplish many milestones, including implementing a company-wide innovation program, conducting the largest known lighting study, designing space optimization experiments, forming a research partnership with a genetics professor, and working with multiple automation companies and product designers. James Eaves was also the first cultivation company to identify and implement Digital Electricity into their facility, which reduced the time of building new rooms by 2 weeks.
James Eaves has a PhD in Agriculture and Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis. James also has a BA in Economics from the University of Connecticut. James is certified by General Assembly in Product Management Bootcamp and by Stanford University in The Mobile Formula: The Three Rules Behind the Most Successful Mobile Products. Finally, they are certified by Oaksterdam University in Indoor Cannabis Cultivation.
