Graeme Cooke currently serves as a Senior Adviser at The Labour Party, a position held since March 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Evidence & Policy at the Joseph Rowntree Foundation from June 2021 to March 2024, Director of Inclusive Growth at the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham from May 2018 to June 2021, and Head of Strategy and Change at Islington Council from September 2016 to May 2018. Graeme also worked at IPPR in various capacities, including Research Director and Associate Director, Work and Families, between September 2010 and November 2014. Additional roles include Head of Open Left at Demos and Expert Adviser to the Secretary of State at the Department for Work and Pensions. Graeme earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge from 2000 to 2003.
