Maureen Michira is an experienced professional in the fields of quality control and biodiversity research. Currently serving as a Quality Control Technician at Laboratory & Allied Ltd since 2018, Maureen also holds the position of Biodiversity Research Assistant at the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) since 2013, where responsibilities include managing Access Permit License Applications and ensuring compliance with environmental legislation. Additionally, Maureen gained practical experience during an internship at Machakos Level 5 Hospital and Referral in 2016, focusing on sample processing and laboratory testing across various departments. Academic qualifications include a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Biotechnology from the University of Nairobi.
