Carrie Maldovan has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2022, they became the Co-Owner and Director of Strategy at Kisasa Designs. Prior to that, they worked at Lab5, starting in 2016, where they held the roles of Consultant and Director of Client Services. Carrie also had a role at Google for Startups, starting in 2016, as a Product Manager, Data and Impact, where they were responsible for driving the product development lifecycle on the team's CRM system, as well as developing data and evaluation strategies. In 2014, Carrie co-founded Above Safaris, a responsible travel company in Tanzania. Carrie Maldovan obtained a Master of Science (M.S.S.W.) degree in Social Enterprise Administration and International Social Welfare from Columbia University, where they attended from 2013 to 2015. Prior to their time at Columbia, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology and African and African American Studies at the University at Buffalo, although the specific start and end years for their undergraduate degree are not provided.
